My name is Dawn Barsano. I’m 34 years old, originally from Israel, and currently living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
I speak English and Hebrew fluently. I also speak, read and write Thai to a certain degree as I’m currently still learning.
I would describe myself as someone who is constantly trying to better understand life and himself.
I’m open-minded and enjoy talking about almost anything.
I value a balanced life and spend a big portion of my time doing things I genuinely enjoy, such as learning, reading, exercising, Muay Thai, cycling, swimming, hiking, meditation, writing, coaching and more.
I try to fit as much as I can in a single day.
I also enjoy having a social life when I can, whether it’s going out with friends, spending time with a significant other, or even going out by myself and interact with strangers.
Alongside my lifestyle and work, I’m currently working on several personal projects, including writing a book, creating tarot decks, writing a blog, and developing other ideas that I plan to bring to life in the future.
Once every 6 months, I like to travel around Thailand and other parts of the East, exploring new places and points of interest. I enjoy experiencing local food and culture, taking photos, and writing along the way. I’m especially drawn to hiking, swimming and camping in nature, and I like to stay active during my travels by trying different activities. For me, it’s about experiencing new things, learning, and gaining experience in the physical world.
When you get to know me, feel free to ask me anything :)
A glimpse into me and my life
My Coaching Journey
Through my travels and life journey, while moving to live in the East and changing my life, I realized that
I wanted to help others. Along the way, I’ve spent and still spending most of my time by learning, researching, and exploring human behaviour through psychology, philosophy, religions, cultures, history, mythology, my own experience and more.
I’m currently working toward my ICF Level 1 credential as I continue to develop my skills and deepen my understanding of coaching.
During my younger years, I faced life changing events in many aspects of life, trying to find direction, clarity, and a sense of self was important to me. Those experiences shaped the way I see people and the way I approach growth and life .
Today, I’m here first and foremost because I genuinely want to help others navigate their own
challenges, find their direction, and build something real they can believe in on a daily basis for a positive future and growth.
Passions & Hobbies
My hobbies reflect a balance between movement, creativity, and exploration. I stay active through Muay Thai, swimming, CrossFit, and cycling, and I enjoy spending time outdoors through hiking, traveling, and exploring new places.
I’m drawn to culture and experience, whether it’s wandering through night and food markets, trying new things, or going out to live music bars.
I also have a strong creative side. I love photography, listen to all kinds of music daily, play the guitar, and enjoy singing during karaoke nights when I get the chance.
I write regularly about life and my own experiences, and I enjoy reading, especially mythology and philosophical books that deepen my understanding of the world.
During my freetime, I enjoy watching anime, professional wrestling, and movies, as well as playing single-player fantasy adventure games, RPGs, roguelikes, and deck builders. Alongside all of this, meditation is an important part of my routine, helping me stay grounded and present
